Clear Answers. Defensible Conclusions.
Workplace investigations for decision-makers across the country who need strategic insight and clear perspective.
Our Services
-
We handle complex, high-stakes allegations—from harassment and discrimination to fraud and executive misconduct—with the precision and discretion of an experienced General Counsel. Our process moves beyond simple fact-finding to deliver focused, legally defensible conclusions, ensuring you have the concrete insight necessary to make necessary employment decisions and withstand potential litigation.
-
Not every complaint requires a full-scale inquiry, and a poorly scoped investigation is a liability in itself. We partner with leadership to assess initial allegations, strictly define the investigative scope to prevent "scope creep," and identify the specific legal questions that must be answered, ensuring resources are focused on the true areas of risk.
-
When friction arises but you don’t need a full investigation, we help diagnose underlying problems and help create a plan to address them. Through confidential interviews and systemic analysis, we identify root causes of toxicity, communication breakdowns, and compliance gaps, providing you with an actionable roadmap to restore trust and organizational integrity.
-
Ensure your internal team is producing work that protects the company. We audit your previous internal investigations to identify procedural gaps and legal vulnerabilities, while offering targeted training to upskill your HR and compliance teams on how to plan, interview, and write reports that stand up to scrutiny.
-
Universities operate under unique frameworks of shared governance, tenure, and academic freedom that standard investigators often misinterpret. Drawing on deep experience as university legal counsel, we navigate these complexities to conduct sensitive investigations involving faculty, administration, and athletics, balancing rigorous compliance with a respect for institutional culture.
